A Little bit about me.

 

Personal life

I am a mother of four amazing children, two daughters and two sons. (Ages 19-9.) I have been married 26 yrs to my best friend and husband Nic. I love animals and have adopted one cat, and a old English Sheep dog and 4 rabbits. I have always had a great love and appreciation for children. I truly enjoy everything about them. I am a part time photographer and enjoy capturing my children’s lives on film. We love our community and enjoy connecting with others. We are an active and close family that often travels in the summer to our daughter's fast pitch softball tournaments. We enjoy family outdoor activities which include family walks, hikes and annual camping trips. We are active in our church and neighborhood community.

 

Work History/ Experience

I have 20 years of experience working with children. Currently I am a self-employed Preschool Teacher and a part time Photographer. My experience includes Musical theater teacher for the YMCA, Lead preschool teacher for the City of Puyallup, Community support specialist for Catholic Community Services, Teacher for Pierce County Mom's Recovery Program, Children's Ministry Director for Tacoma Foursquare Church and Foster parent for DSHS.

 

Other Business experience includes, Retail management, Chef for the Gourmet Pantry, Floral Management for Top Foods, Certified Nursing Assistant for Tacoma Lutheran Home, Actress /Stage Performer for Encore Theater, Owner operator of Constant Craving Espresso shop.

 

Certification

I have current and up to date Washington State Child Care Training (STARS). I received Drama training through Pierce College/Encore Theatre.  I am current and up to date on all my CPR/HIV certifications.
